International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th March in many countries around the world.

This year marks the 106th anniversary of International Women’s Day and the theme for this year is #PressforProgress.Throughout history, women have made remarkable contributions to the society. International Women’s Day honors those women and celebrates their courage and perseverance.

in honor of International Women’s day,here is my list of favorite quotes by ten inspirational women:

1.Mother Teresa

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”

Mother Teresa set up the Missionaries of Charity in 1950 and devoted her entire life to helping the poor and the sick around the world.

2.Mary Kom

“Don’t let anyone tell you you’re weak because you’re a woman.”

Mary Kom is the first female boxer to win a medal in six boxing championships. This quote proves that strength is not tied to a particular gender and true strength lies within.

3.Eleanor Roosevelt
