Troubleshooting your Belkin Wireless Router

There are times when your internet suddenly stops working even if everything seems perfect with the connections. There comes the need to troubleshoot your Belkin wireless router. The following are the essential things to take care of while troubleshooting.

  • Your Belkin wireless router should not have any barriers around it. Things like microwaves, cordless phones, refrigerators, etc., if kept around the router, can hinder its connection and performance.
  • You should check the ethernet cables frequently, for both your router and modem. Doing this will ensure that you are getting an uninterrupted connection between your router and devices. Kindly note that there will be disturbances in the connection if the cables are faulty or busted, and it can even end up in no connection.
  • Furthermore, make it a habit of clearing the cache and history from time to time. Not doing this can lead you not to browse the internet or even open the router setup page.

Push the reset button on your router and hold it for around 20 seconds if you are facing difficulties while logging on to your router. Doing this will bring the router to its factory default phase, and every custom configuration will be removed.
